According to today’s issue of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, new home sales are are at the highest mid-year sales total in a decade. 4267 new homes have recorded YTD through June 2017 vs 3485 in first half 2016. This is a huge 22.4% increase! New home permits pulled in June are at the highest since 2008. Although sales may never return to the record highs we saw prior to 2008, we are currently seeing strong gains and the median prices continue to rise.
